此次朝俄首脑会晤(the summit between heads of the two countries)持续了3个半小时，包括"一对一会谈(one-on-one conversation)"和双边扩大会议(bilateral broader talks)。会晤期间，双方就朝鲜半岛无核化(the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula)、双边关系(bilateral ties)、经贸合作(economic cooperation)等问题进行了深入、富有成果的对话(hold in-depth and fruitful talks)。
普京说，俄方坚持和平解决朝鲜半岛核问题，并将继续致力于缓解半岛紧张局势(reduce tensions on the peninsula)，巩固整个东北亚地区安全(strengthen security in Northeast Asia as a whole)。金正恩说，双方就共同关心的问题进行了讨论。他表示，希望同普京继续保持"有益、建设性"的对话(negotiations will continue along the same lines in a useful and constructive way)。
中国外交部发言人耿爽24日表示，朝鲜和俄罗斯都是中国的友好邻邦(friendly neighbors)。中方乐见朝俄加强高层往来(strengthen high level exchanges between Pyongyang and Moscow)，增进双边合作，相信这有助于朝俄关系进一步发展，也有利于半岛的和平与稳定(help further enhance their bilateral ties as well as the peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula)。
