Three luxury brands—Versace, Coach and Givenchy—have issued apologies after facing criticism on Chinese social media over a T-shirt that appeared to identify Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau as being independent of Beijing’s rule.

三大奢侈品牌——范思哲、蔻驰和纪梵希因一款T恤在中国社交媒体上遭到谴责而致歉，这款T恤上赫然将中国台湾、中国香港和中国澳门划分为国家。

Versace was the first company to apologize on Sunday. The T-shirt was removed from sale on July 24, and the stock was destroyed, the Italian design house said.

8月11日，范思哲首先道歉。这家意大利设计公司表示，该T恤已于7月24日下架，库存已被销毁。

Actress Yang Mi, who was an ambassador for the brand in China, decided to cut ties with Versace. Model Liu Wen and boy band member Jackson Yee have since given up ambassadorships for luxury brands that were also criticized for political insensitivities.

范思哲中国区代言人、演员杨幂宣布与范思哲解约。模特刘雯和男团成员易烊千玺也因合作的奢侈品牌有同样政治问题遭谴责而与品牌解约。

American brand Coach apologized on Monday in a statement on social media, saying: “Coach respects and supports China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” adding that it pulled the shirt from sale after finding the “serious inaccuracy” in May last year.

美国品牌蔻驰8月12日在社交媒体上发表声明道歉称“蔻驰尊重并且支持中国的主权和领土完整”，并表示在发现这个“重大失误”后，已于去年5月将该款T恤下架。

Givenchy said in a statement posted to Weibo: “For any human negligence and mistakes, we must correct and take immediate precautions. The Givenchy brand has always respected China's sovereignty and firmly adhered to the one-China principle and remained unwavering.”

纪梵希通过微博发布声明表示：“对于任何的人为疏忽与错误，我们一定立即纠正并引以为戒。纪梵希品牌一贯尊重中国主权，坚决拥护一个中国原则，坚定不移。”
