在2017年读过一本历史书的人数几乎是看过最终季《权力的游戏》第一集人数的三倍。这一年读过诗歌的年轻人比例是五年前的两倍之多。特朗普总统发布的一条典型推文，怒气冲冲，拼写错误，语法糟糕，或许能给他带来100000个“赞”。在特朗普任期的第一年2800万美国人读过一本诗集，与之相比，年轻人在2017年读过诗歌的比例是15年来最高。
