考研英语(二)大作文之常用表达
按照对历年真题写作思路的规律总结，我们发现考研英语(二)历年大作文写作遵循基本的“三段式”，这基本是按照题目本身的要求总结出的写作规律：第一段：图表内容描述;第二段：分析原因描述;第三段：方法措施表述。“三段式”写作范本基本上被广大考生所掌握，难倒考生的不是段落分布，而是如何利用恰当、精彩的表达填充好这“三段”框架。既然从题目要求，我们得知写作应遵循三步走的策略，那么，我们的备考策略，尤其是常用表达的积累，也应该遵循分门别类的原则。下面便是考研英语(二)大作文第一段常用的一些表述，具体如下所示：
(一)关于表格的表述
纵观历年考研英语(二)大作文的图表(chart/ diagram)，我们发现，截至目前，出现了四种形式，分别是表格图: table;柱状图: bar/column chart;饼状图: pie graph/chart;曲线图: line chart。
(二)关于数据的表述
图表的出现不单纯是为了展示图表，而是想用其中的数据说明问题，所以，广大考生就需要积累相关数据、数据变化以及描述数据变化的词的表达。
数字: figure/ number;百分比: percentage, percent;比例: proportion;统计数据: statistics;趋势: tendency, trend; 最值：Reach the peak/the bottom/the highest point/the lowest point;arrive at the peak/the bottom/the highest point/the lowest point;sth dominated sth; fall to the lowest point;the most popular; the second popular; the least popular;占据比重: take up, make up, occupy, account for
(三)描述性词汇
表示“表明/揭露/揭示”：show, describe, depict, illustrate, present, indicate, reveal, unveil that... / give information on/ about/ of sth
表示“趋势”
增加/上升：动词：increase, soar, rocket, ascend, mount, climb, jump, rise, grow
名词：increase, rise, growth,jump
减少/下降 ：动词： fall, drop, decline, reduce, decrease, descend, go down
名词：decrease, decline, slowdown, slump, drop
上下浮动 fluctuate
持平 remain steady/stable/unchanged, stay the same, keep to the same level, little change, no change
表示“变化”
剧烈/显著/明显
