国家林草局表示，过去五年，我国新增湿地面积20.26万公顷，湿地保护率达到50%以上，为净化水质、保护生态环境发挥了显著作用。

Wetlands in China have expanded steadily over the past five years, growing by 202,600 hectares and making a significant contribution to water quality and environmental protection, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration said. Nearly half of the country's wetlands are protected by some level of government, said the administration.

【知识点】

湿地是全球重要生态系统之一，具有涵养水源、净化水质、维护生物多样性、蓄洪防旱、调节气候和固碳等重要的生态功能，对维护生态、粮食和水资源安全具有重要作用。

“十三五”期间，我国统筹推进湿地保护与修复，安排中央投资98.7亿元，其中中央预算内投资15亿元，实施湿地保护与恢复项目53个;安排中央财政湿地补助83.7亿元，实施湿地生态效益补偿补助、退耕还湿、湿地保护与恢复补助项目2000余个。新增国家湿地公园201处，截至2020年国家湿地公园共899处。

“十四五”期间，中国将全力推进湿地保护立法，不断完善湿地保护修复制度建设，并实施一批湿地保护修复国家重点工程项目，做好长江经济带、京津冀等国家重大战略的湿地保护修复工程。还将构建国家、省级和湿地地点的三级监测体系，不断加强湿地监督管理。

【重要讲话】

开展国土绿化行动，推进荒漠化、石漠化、水土流失综合治理，强化湿地保护和恢复，加强地质灾害防治。

We will promote afforestation, take comprehensive steps to control desertification, stony deserts, and soil erosion, strengthen wetland conservation and restoration, and better prevent and control geological disasters.
