The final results of The People's Notre-Dame Cathedral Design Competition - held by GoArchitect, an independent book publisher in Los Angeles - was announced on Tuesday.

洛杉矶独立图书出版公司GoArchitect举办的巴黎圣母院重建赛的最终结果于周二公布。

Cai Zeyu and Li Sibei, two architects from China, won the championship with their creative and beautiful design "Paris Heart Beat."

两名来自中国的建筑师蔡泽宇和李思蓓获得了以他们富有创意和美丽的设计“巴黎心跳”赢得了冠军。

The competition received 226 entries from 56 countries and regions. The Chinese architects' work earned more than 30,000 votes from the public.

这个比赛收到了56个国家的226份提案，中国建筑师方案获得了公众30000多票。

The 850-year-old Notre-Dame Cathedral was engulfed by a terrible fire in April.

有850年历史的圣母大教堂在四月被一场可怕的大火吞没。

Cai and Li explained their design on the GoArchitect website. A spire was replaced by a mirror that will act as a kaleidoscope of sorts reflecting different scenes as the city's environment changes. The architects call the spire "Time Capsule" as they intend it to be opened every 50 years.

蔡和李在GoArchitect网站上解释了他们的设计。塔尖被镜子所取代，它将像万花筒一样，随着城市环境的变化而反射不同的场景。建筑师称塔尖为“时间胶囊”，因为他们打算每半个世纪打开一次。

The new spire also uses a magnetic levitation technology.

"Time capsule moves rhythmically up and down, breathing and beating together with the city," said Cai and Li in the introduction.

“时间胶囊有节奏地上下移动，与城市一起呼吸和跳动。” 蔡泽宇和李思蓓在介绍中说。
