Dear Jeremy,
Due to conflicting schedules I will not be able to attend the monthly seminar scheduled for this Friday. I have to attend the National English Speaking Competition held in Beijing in the same day. Much as I would like to I cannot be in both Beijing and Tianjin at the same time.
In my absence, Sammy will be responsible for making monthly report to each attendee at the meeting.
I am looking forward to joining all of you at the November meeting. Please accept my sincere epology for the absence.
