As is clearly demonstrated in the table，there is a series of figures showing the number and ratio of senior citizens in China.It can be seen that the number of senior citizens increases steadily from 2010 to 2050，starting from 140 million(10%)in 2010，undergoing 200 million(14%)in 2015，and eventually ending up with 400 million(25%)in 2050.

So what are the reasons behind the phenomenon mirrored by the table?First of all，the impact of the one child policy which was implemented for several decades to effectively control the population of China is emerging.What's more，with the living standard improving，people tend to live a healthy life，which enables them to achieve a much longer life expectancy.Last but not least，the young couples become more reluctant to have a baby because their shoulders are overburdened due to the unprecedented high level of house prices and living expenses.

From what has been analyzed above，we can easily come to the conclusion that it is urgent for the government to make some incentive policies to relieve the phenomenon of aging population.Only in this way，can we have a bright future to look forward to.
