On Integrity

In the picture，a salesman claimed that the crab he sold weighed 3 catties. However，according to the buyer's own steelyard，it turned out to be less than 2 catties. This picture points out the issue of integrity.

As the picture illustrates，we live in a world where integrity is not talked about enough. It is commonly seen that marketing personnels overpromise and underdeliver，all in the aim of making a profit and improving their sales performance. It may seem that people can gain benefits quickly and easily if they are willing to cut corners and act without the constraints of morality. However，dishonesty may provide instant interests at the moment but it will never last. And for those who have lost their ability to be trusted as a person of integrity，there will always be retribution at some point. Furthermore，the profit in money or power is temporary， but the asset in a network of people who trust you as a reliable person is forever.

In a word，buildng a reputation of trust takes years，but it takes only a second to lose it，so never allow yourself to do anything that would damage your integrity. In a larger sense，it is us，human beings，who create the society we want，not profit. Profit s should not always be given priority over human's well-being.

在图中，一个售货员称他卖的螃蟹有3斤重。但是，在买主自己的秤上，显示才不足2斤。这个图片揭示了诚信的问题。

如图所示，在我们所处的社会中，诚信问题没有得到足够的重视。我们常常看到推销员言过其实、缺斤短两，都是以获利和销售业绩为目的。似乎如果人们愿意抄近路、不受道德约束的话，他们就能快速轻松地获利。然而，不诚信可能会带来即时的满足，但并不能长久。而那些已经失去作为诚信之人的能力的人，总会有得到报应的时候。另外，金钱或权力的利益是暂时的，而拥有一个把你当作诚信之人的人际关系网才是永恒的财富。

总之，建立一个诚信的名声需要很多年，但是失信就在一瞬之间，所以永远不要允许自己做任何会破坏自己诚信的事情。从更大的层面讲，是我们人类自己，而不是利益创造了这个我们想要的世界，所以一定不要只重视利益而不重视人类的福祉。
