A recent survey shows that students in our university leave many leftovers on the table after finishing their meal. However， it is a real pity that food is wasted while many people in other parts of the world are suffering from starving. Thus，we are launching the “eat-it-up” campaign.

First of all， food should be purchased according to your appetite，which will make it easier for you to eat up your food. Besides， if there is still some food left after the meal， you are encouraged to take it away for the next meal or for your pet.

I do hope that you can take an active part in the “eat-it-up” campaign and avoid any waste.
