2023年职业教育活动周全国启动仪式暨全国职业院校技能大赛开幕式5月14日在山东潍坊举行。

2015年起，国务院决定将每年5月第二周设为职业教育活动周。今年职业教育活动周以“技能：让生活更美好”为主题，于5月14日至20日开展。
今年活动周期间，教育部等十部门分别牵头举办十余项全国性活动，共同营造全社会关心支持职业教育的良好氛围。各地还将聚焦活动周主题，推出地方特色亮点活动，并持续做好常规性活动、指导学校开展好活动，让更多素质技术技能人才被看见，让更多职业院校被社会了解。
此外，从今年起，教育部还将综合考虑各地职业教育改革发展情况和活动周总体设计，每年选取1至2个活动内涵丰富、形式新颖，具有鲜明地方特色的地区作为“年度推介省份(城市)”，予以重点宣传。

统筹职业教育、高等教育、继续教育协同创新，推进职普融通、产教融合、科教融汇，优化职业教育类型定位。
