4月21日，国家主席向在上海“世界会客厅”举办的“中国式现代化与世界”蓝厅论坛致贺信。“中国式现代化与世界”蓝厅论坛由中国公共外交协会、中国人民外交学会和上海市人民政府共同主办，近80国政府、智库、媒体代表参加。

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday sent a congratulatory message to the Lanting Forum on Chinese Modernization and the World held at the Meet-the-World Lounge in Shanghai. The Lanting Forum on Chinese Modernization and the World was organized by the China Public Diplomacy Association and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, and was supported by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Representatives of governments, think tanks and the media from nearly 80 countries participated in the Forum.

蓝厅论坛由外交部于2010年创办，是探视和解读中国重大外交政策和外交活动的重要平台，也是中外各界对中国外交政策与共同关心的问题进行交流的重要渠道。论坛取名于外交部南楼“蓝厅”。

4月21日，“中国式现代化与世界”蓝厅论坛在上海举办。论坛围绕“中国式现代化与世界”主题举行三场论坛和一场工商界午餐会。300多名国内外的知名政要、前政要、专家学者和工商界代表，以及外国驻华使节、国际组织驻华代表、国际媒体代表，齐聚上海“世界会客厅”，围绕中国式现代化与世界主题进行深入交流。

此次是蓝厅论坛首次走出北京，走进地方，意义特殊。上海见证了中国的百年变迁，以及中国同世界关系的深刻变化，是交流研讨中国式现代化对世界意义的理想场所。在上海举办蓝厅论坛活动，是外交服务地方发展对外开放的又一举措。
